Made here. Celebrated here.

Hi — I'm Emma.

I've always been interested in food. In 2017 I made my daughter's first birthday cake, and that turned out to be the start of something rather than a one-off.

My dad and I bonded over flavour development — a lot of Great British Bake Off, and a lot of arguing about what actually tastes good. He's the one who challenged me to learn macarons. They are as fussy as everyone says. I'm glad he pushed.

What keeps me here is the mix: the creativity of design, learning a new skill every time someone asks for something I haven't tried, and building a flavour from scratch until it's right. A cake has to taste as good as it looks. Plenty of them only manage one.

So tell me what you're celebrating — the date, the people, the weird little theme. I'll take it from there.

Coho Cake Co. is fully licensed, and I bake in a state-inspected kitchen.
